CAMPING RIVER ACHERONTE

The excursion on the Acheronte river, nearby Parga, is unforgettable; it is one of the most fascinating and less known places of the area.

A few kilometers from the sea, there is the wood of oriental plane trees with very strange shapes, with underwater roots.
Once the river is crossed, you get to the river bed; going up the river you reach a roman bridge which is over a perfect area to do a picnic.

The panorama is wonderful, with steep chalky walls which reflect the whiteness of the rocks on the emerald green water.
